1. Our role

THE SAJ TUTOR CONNECT is a marketplace that introduces customers to independent teachers and tutors. We are not a tutoring agency. We do not employ or supply tutors, set lesson fees, supervise lessons or guarantee outcomes. Any contract for lessons is between the customer and the tutor.

2. Accounts

You must be 18 or over to hold an account and must provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account.

3. Lesson requests

Customers must post genuine requests and may withdraw a request at any time. Requests that contain contact details in free-text fields, or that breach our policies, may be edited or removed.

4. Unlock fee

  • Browsing opportunities is free for tutors. There is no subscription.
  • Unlocking a customer's contact details costs a one-off fee, currently £5, taken securely via Stripe. The current price is always shown before payment.
  • A tutor is never charged twice for the same lesson request.
  • The fee purchases access to contact details only. It is not a guarantee of a reply, a booking or any income.

5. Refunds

Because access is delivered immediately, unlock fees are generally non-refundable. We may refund at our discretion where a request was fraudulent, duplicated or removed by us, or where a technical fault prevented access. Contact support@thesajtutorconnect.cloud within 14 days.

6. Acceptable use

  • Do not share, resell or bulk-collect customer contact details
  • Do not use unlocked details for marketing or anything other than the enquiry
  • Do not misrepresent identity, qualifications or DBS status
  • Do not attempt to bypass the unlock mechanism or the platform's security

Breach may result in suspension or termination without refund. See our safeguarding policy.

7. Reviews

Reviews must be honest, based on genuine experience and free from abusive content. We may remove reviews that breach these terms.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the conduct, quality, safety or legality of lessons arranged through the platform, nor for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Changes

We may update these terms and will publish the revised version here. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
